Jump into Spring!
All the sniffles and snuffles of winter are coming to an end as we get ready to welcome spring! Though it may seem like the winter is dragging on, don’t let it drag you along. March is women’s history month and also full of important dates like international women’s day, the spring equinox, and numerous religious holidays. Start to get excited for April showers and May flowers by spending extra time with your family. It is easy to get caught up in winter’s shadow, but the sunshine is on its way and calling you out to play. Remember, you deserve to take a deep breath and enjoy the spring air. Treat yourself to some quality personal time and get ready for the season to bloom!Top

Spotlight on Alyani!
This month, we chatted with Safety 1st Marketing Coordinator, Djamila Oliveira, about the newest addition to her family, Alyani, a 5 month old baby girl. This is Djamila’s first baby and it’s been quite an adventure so far! Alyani loves to eat milk, rice, cereal, and bananas, but especially likes to chew on any toy she can get her hands on! This summer the family is planning a trip to Cape Verde to visit her grandparents (we’re sure the weather there is much nicer than here!) Alyani is already sitting up on her own, trying to turn over, and even standing up! Unfortunately she isn’t sleeping through the night completely so Djamila has been getting used to feedings at 2 a.m. Alyani loves to take baths and is very accustomed to her routine of taking a bath, then eating a snack, and taking a nap (sounds like a good life to me!) For Easter she will dress up in a cute, frilly Easter dress and will be surrounded by her close relatives. Overall she’s a very happy little girl and that makes mom and dad very happy! We wish Djamila and her husband, Pery, good luck with their little one!Top
