Exclusive Quinny® Buzz™Stroller and Dreami™Bassinet Designed by Lela Rose Strolls Into Specialty Stores September 8
CANTON, Mass. (August 29, 2007) - Dorel Juvenile Group USA, a part of Dorel Industries Inc. (TSX: DII.B, DII.A) and a leading manufacturer and marketer of juvenile products, announces that the limited edition Thumbprint Collection Quinny® BuzzTM stroller and DreamiTM bassinet designed by Lela Rose will be available in select specialty stores beginning September 8. Based on the popular European Quinny Buzz stroller and Dreami bassinet recently introduced in the United States, the new Thumbprint Collection is both stylish and exclusive. Only 300 strollers and 100 bassinets will be available for purchase.Lela Rose, known for her luxurious yet whimsical hand-finished designs, used her own children as inspiration for the Thumbprint Collection. Her son, Grey, and daughter, Rosey, literally left their marks on the limited edition Buzz ($999.99) and Dreami ($399.99) by lending their thumbprints to the plush fabric interiors. Bright red accents and cross-stitching adorn both pieces, making the Thumbprint Collection the most distinctive Quinny travel system yet.
The Quinny Buzz stroller is beloved by parents worldwide for its convenience and ease of use. A modular travel system, the Buzz stroller features a reversible, reclining stroller seat, and is compatible with the Quinny Dreami bassinet and Maxi-Cosi® MicoTM Infant Car Seat (both sold separately). On-the-go parents love the Buzz stroller's hydraulic technology that unfolds the stroller at just a touch - no hands required. A height-adjustable handle ensures mom and dad's comfort, while the stroller's unique three-wheel design and suspension system allow easy maneuvering. Included with purchase are a sun canopy, storage basket, rainshield, wind stoppers, bug net and Maxi-Cosi Mico car seat adapters.
"The Quinny brand has always embodied the combination of trendsetting fashion with innovative precision engineering," said Lisa Abdinoor, Dorel Juvenile Group's director of marketing for the Quinny® and Maxi-Cosi® brands. "The fashionable Thumbprint Collection further escalates Quinny as the choice of parents who want a stroller that complements their individual sense of style, but also provides stressless, reliable transportation."
"It was a pleasure to design the Thumbprint Collection," said Lela Rose. "Quinny's inherent style made it easy to create these special pieces. I hope parents enjoy using them as much as I enjoyed designing them."
A list of specialty retailers carrying the Thumbprint Collection will be available next week on www.quinny.com.
