Web Systems Engineer
Dorel Juvenile is looking for a Web Systems Integration Engineer at our Foxboro, MA location to support our internal data integration needs as well as those of our customers which include Amazon, Walmart.com, and BabiesRUs.com.
The Systems Integration Engineer will have a passion for new technology and a solid understanding of best practices. This position requires significant systems integration experience and an understanding of web services (REST/SOAP), ecommerce systems, social listening, user sentiment measurement, web analytics, marketing automation, call center, sales and data integration platforms.
Major projects in this position will include the migration of existing WebSphere-based eCommerce websites to SiteCore and Magento platforms for Safety1st websites globally and Cosco in the US, the integration of JD Edwards data into multiple SaaS systems, our retail partners’ systems (EDI) and web properties along with the integration of online advertising pixels and beacons into Coremetrics.
Other key duties include;
- Responsible for the creation of applications, reports and data feeds in support of needs from internal units such as Finance/Accounting, Products, Business Development, Marketing and Consumer Support
As a Web Systems Engineer, you will be a recognized SME in web technologies, having a proven track record in Web operation/administration, engineering and application development. Most importantly, you will have an excellent understanding of how Web technologies can best be utilized to meet the needs of the business. You will be part of a global engineering team that develops full end-to-end Web solutions that are consumed by Dorel Juvenile brands such as Safety 1st and Cosco Juvenile. You will also need to engage on a regular basis with those businesses to ensure their requirements are being met. Good written and verbal communication is an important part of the role as you will be expected to provide regular updates to senior management, business stakeholders and the broader Web community. In addition you will be expected to participate in cross-line of business working groups engaged on firm-wide Web initiatives.
