Over the past five years, DJG has donated tens of thousands of dollars worth of Safety 1st and other DJG car seats, strollers, high chairs, play yards, monitors and more to Room to Grow.
"Organizations like Room to Grow provide a vital service to parents and children who would otherwise go without many of the things they need in the first three years," said Lisa Abdinoor, Vice President of Sales at Dorel Juvenile Group. "We are pleased to be able to support an organization that aligns so closely with our mission to make the world a better, safer place for children."
"We were so pleased to honor Dorel Juvenile Group at the Room to Grow Fall Gala to benefit babies born into poverty," says Saskia Epstein, Room to Grow executive director. "Since Room to Grow's inception in Boston five years ago, Dorel has played an instrumental role in providing safety equipment to children born into families in need. This year they donated strollers to help our families navigate their streets safely, and play yards to make time at home a positive experience."
