Dorel Juvenile Group Issues Statement Regarding IIHS 2010 Booster Seat Report
COLUMBUS, IN, September 8, 2010 – Dorel Juvenile Group has a history of offering the best, most innovative products while also offering value for parents and caregivers. Under our Cosco, Safety 1st, Eddie Bauer and Maxi-Cosi brands, the IIHS rated 5 of our seats as a “Best Bet” or “Good Bet.” The high ranking of our seats by the IIHS, confirms our position, that through standards and innovation we deliver products with the highest quality and reliability.At DJG we are constantly updating and investing for the future and have built a one of a kind, state of the art facility, the Dorel Technical Center for Child Safety. The Technical Center is fostering innovation and continues to fuel Dorel’s leadership in the design, development and crash worthiness of our car seats. In fact, the first product developed using the processes in the Tech Center, the Rümi™ Air harnessed booster, has received a Best Buy rating and will be included on the IIHS’s website posting of its booster report.
